The KSV Team
The students of Kalkeri Sangeet Vidyalaya are trained by an experienced, sincere, and motivated teaching team.

Music is taught by professional and renowned musicians who come to KSV six days a week. Ramesh Kolkund and Basavaraj Hiremath teach singing and harmonium. Violin, sitar, shennai, bamboo flute, Bharat natyam and tabla are taught, respectively, by Pandit Basavalingaya Sandaya Math, Noorjahan Nadaf, Pandit Basavaraj Banjantri, Savitha Hegde and Ravi Kudligi. These musicians all give regular performances and many participate in the prestigious musical programs of the All India Radio and Door Darshan (national radio and television).

On the academic level, the school is also blessed with many skilled individuals. Firstly, Mrs. Leela Patil, teacher and headmistress, ensures the quality of the educational curriculum. She is assisted by Vimla Patil, Mehboob Sheik, Muhammad Ali Walikar, Ningappa Badiger, Raju Kalgi, Rajeshwari Dodmani, Giraja Pujar and Sumathi Patil who are all experienced teachers.

KSV could not carry on without an efficient and dedicated administration team. KSV’s administration team comprises of Anwaruddin Kazi, Avinash Patil, Adam Woodward and Yeshwant Schinde.

Cooking healthy meals for approximately a hundred people three times a day requires devotion and experience and to accomplish this we are fortunate to count Chennabasaya Kotimath in our team as our cook.

The volunteers, who come for a minimum period of four months, are also involved in teaching process. These exchanges help the students to learn English, broaden their minds, arouse their curiosity and familiarise them with different cultures.
Mr. Kazi
Last but not least we have an important group of local labourers who work around the school doing general maintenance, building repairs and kitchen work, etc.

This dynamic teaching team, supported by the administrative team, the labour group and volunteers, guarantee that the students live in a congenial environment for studying music and academic subjects.
